Rome Awaits

45th Anniversary / School of Architecture Alumni Celebration

October 16-19, 2025
Contact: Craig Wescott, westcc@rpi.edu

Join fellow RPI alumni, School of Architecture Dean Evan Douglis, and UArk’s Rome Center Director Francesco Badeschi and return to The Eternal City for a four-day curated journey, October 16-19, 2025! Explore the rich tapestry of cultural and architectural wonders that define this magical land—a city where every archaeological fragment speaks of timeless beauty, boundless creativity, and the enduring promise of an ancient world.

The experience will culminate in an elegant celebration at the Palazzo Taverna, RPI’s distinguished home in Rome, where we will honor the School of Architecture’s exceptional legacy in architectural education abroad. This memorable evening will feature a special Lifetime Achievement and Service tribute to Patrick Quinn, former Dean of the School of Architecture and visionary founder of the Italian Studies program, and Frances Bronet, former faculty member and administrative leader at RPI and current President of Pratt Institute, honoring their extraordinary contributions to the profession and their pivotal roles in the program’s enduring success and impact.

This is more than just an event; it is a rare opportunity to rekindle connections with former classmates and faculty members who shared in the transformative experience of the Italian Studies program, while ensuring that this life-changing opportunity continues to inspire future generations.

Our Rome Awaits: 45th Anniversary / School of Architecture Alumni Celebration, scheduled for October 16-19, 2025, has limited space.
