Sara Navrady is an Associate Architect at Menacoo, were she has worked since 2015. Since graduating from the Delft University of Technology in 2012 with a Master of Science in Architecture, she has worked in multi-disciplinary offices in Calgary, Boston, London, Paris, Brisbane and Basel. Navrady has broad international experience working across all scales from urban design to architectural and interior conception, detailing and execution. Her focus on overall strategy and communication with a keen attention to detail, brings strength to the design and project process by ensuring a refined and adaptable work flow and integrated collaboration with clients and consultants. Navrady has experience with managing international projects and leads Mecanoo teams on projects such as the Lawson Centre for Sustainability and Jacob’s Pillow Doris Duke Theatre.
Mecanoo, officially founded in Delft in 1984, is a multidisciplinary architectural firm with a diverse team from 25 countries including architects, interior designers, urban planners, and landscape architects. Led by Creative Director Francine Houben and a team of partners, Mecanoo has extensive experience designing and realising exceptional buildings which serve client ambitions while creating vibrant end-user spaces. Each project responds to their philosophy of People, Place, Purpose, Poetry: to the client’s requirements and the user’s needs (People); the physical context, climate and culture (Place); and the current and predicted potential of a building’s function (Purpose), creating designs that touches all the senses (Poetry).
We look forward to seeing you at this lecture.
