Marc Tatarsky is a licensed professional engineer and educator located in New York. He is a Lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s School of Architecture and School of Engineering. Courses Marc teaches include Structures I, Structures 2, and Conceptual Structural Systems.
Outside of lecturing, Marc is an Associate in Arup’s New York office and leads the East Specialist Technology, Analytics and Research Team. His focus is on earthquake engineering, performance-based design, and the design and analysis of complex structures. Marc has delivered analysis-led design on a variety of projects including historical masonry buildings, skyscrapers, off-shore platforms, mine shafts, tunnels, bridges, observation wheels, and more.
