Claire Moriarty is a designer, researcher & educator combining advanced technology, aesthetics & responsive systems. Her work has centered on leveraging technology for the design and fabrication of architectural-scale, multi-media interventions. As a designer at Jenny Sabin Studio, Moriarty worked on projects including the Google Bay View Campus, the Ontario Science Centre & Neuehouse NYC. As a researcher, at the University of Pennsylvania, she
co-authored papers on the use of artificial intelligence and automated fabrication in aesthetics, and developed drones for forest management while working at Treeswift, an advanced tech startup. She has previously taught at the University of Pennsylvania, & led a workshop at ACADiA 2022. Moriarty has a Bachelor of Fine Art in Architecture from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a Master of Science in Design for Robotics & Autonomous Systems from the University of Pennsylvania.
