Rensselaer School of Architecture continues its Spring 2022 Lecture Series this Thursday, March 24th at 6:30 pm with the online lecture “In Search of Unprecedented and Ordinary Architecture” by Tomoaki Uno.
Tomoaki Uno is an architect based in Nagoya, Japan who established his own firm in 1990. Uno’s work proposes an architecture of a refined aesthetic and delicate attention to structure and materials. The studio works on a range of projects, from residential architecture to product design, with a dedicated sensitivity to detail and hand-craftsmanship. In 2020, the book Visible Invisible was published to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the office.
