THE ROBERT S. BROWN ‘52 FELLOWS PROGRAM was established in 1988 by Mrs. Helen C. Brown in loving memory of her son, Robert S. Brown ‘52, a 1952 graduate of Rensselaer’s School of Architecture. The fund is intended to expand educational opportunities and broaden the cultural base by providing traveling fellowships to Rensselaer’s architecture students and faculty.
For the 2020 program year, one fellowship will be dedicated to the Mill Owners’ Association Building in Ahmedabad India. The awardee will work closely with Mr. Abhinava Shukla, the Secretary General of the Mill Owners’ Association. The Ahmedabad Textile Mill Owners’ Association House (ATMA House) is a modern architecture building in Ahmedabad, India designed by Swiss/French architect Le Corbusier (Charles- Édouard Jeanneret, 1887-1965).
Application Process and Deadlines
All submissions must be received by the Dean’s Office no later than: 6:00pm, Monday, April 6, 2020.
Notification of Awards
The winner and runner-up will be notified by: Monday, April 13, 2020.
