Kallipoliti & Perry at Exhibition “Tomorrows”
Professors Chris Perry, in collaboration with Cathryn Dwyre, and Lydia Kallipoliti in collaboration with Andreas Theodoridis, are participating in the exhibition “Tomorrows: Urban Fictions for Possible Futures” organized by the Onassis Cultural Center in Athens, Greece. Undergraduate architecture students Erica Vinson, Xueping Li, Seraphim Le and Dakota Pace participated in Professor Kallipoliti’s project team. Tomorrows opens May 16th at 8:00pm and admission is free.
The Tomorrows exhibition focuses on the multiple aspects the future presents today. It features works by artists, architects and designers who tell stories about tomorrow’s possible worlds, discussing the fears and hopes of their inhabitants. Trends of the present provide a starting point for hypothetical—and often exaggerated utopian and dystopian—scenarios where the future becomes a tool of understanding present itself.
