DigShop#3: Faking Death, Killing Drawing
Wed 3/26 & Thur 3/27.
What: FAKING DEATH: KILLING DRAWING.
This workshop will focus on developing multi-faceted techniques of ‘drawing’ that will allow students to reinvent their own representational strategies. Beginning by looking at the work and techniques of previous architects / artists / filmmakers / doctors / clerks and complementing certain strategies within their work with the tools at our disposal (such as Rhino, Grasshopper, VRay, Photoshop) we will focus on developing cross-platform processes to smudge and blur the boundaries assumed by users, mice and keyboards.
