Erin Butler Wins Browns Fellowship
New Program:
2014 Brown’s India Fellowship Awarded to Erin Butler.
Erin Butler (class 2015) submitted the winning application for the new Browns’ India Fellowship. Erin is our School’s first winner of this new program.
She will travel to the Millowners Association Building in Ahmedabad, India, where she will work closely with Mr. Abhinava Shukla, the Secretary General of the Millowners Association. The Ahmedabad Textile Mill Owner’s Association House (ATMA) is a modern architecture buiding designed by French architect Le Corbusier. Erin will gather documentation to be used in development of a plan for publicity of the building, work on a rehabilitation plan and maintain a SoA blog site detailing the progress. She also will have opportunities to travel to other parts of India.
